The tennis development program is at The University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center, located at 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK.

VWTA is an independent commercial enterprise and is not sponsored by The University of Tulsa.

Our Philosophy

We base our developmental tennis program on a balance of values, tennis skills, and great fun. We believe learning should take place in a fun environment. We encourage and teach our players to truly understand work ethic and stroke fundamentals, as well as match play strategies. More than anything, we want our players to learn life lessons through tennis.


Junior 12 and Under Program

Red Ball (Ages 5-8)

Our Red Class lessons are geared for beginner players looking to start playing tennis. A focus on technique, patterns of play, and court positioning in a fun tennis environment.

Green Ball (Ages 10-12)

Our Green class lessons geared for players looking to start playing tournaments or are already playing tournaments. This class is for players that are ready to learn the process of tennis match play in a competitive environment. A focus on technique, patterns of play, and court positioning. Match Play every Friday.

Orange Ball (Ages 7-10)

Our Orange class lessons are geared for players looking to start playing tournaments. A focus on technique, patterns of play, and court positioning. Tennis match play every Friday.

Advanced and Elite Program (Ages 12-18)

Advanced

This program is designed for middle and high school tennis players who compete in state and sectional USTA tournaments and will train with others with similar skills. The focus will be live ball, point play situations and doubles/singles match play day.

Elite

Our Elite development program covers all aspects of tennis skills in context with playing with college players and peers. Geared for player’s ages 12-18 in team participation as well as a pathway for competitive excellence at the national level for middle and high school tennis players. Match play, live ball, speed and agility.

Adults Program

Welcome to the VWTA Adult Program. We offer an Adult Academy every day of the week, as well as private lessons and tennis match play opportunities.

Academy Group Lessons

Join our Academy group lessons and train alongside like-minded adults in a fun and motivating group setting. Led by experienced coaches, these structured sessions cover all aspects of tennis, from fundamental skills to advanced competitive techniques. With our small class sizes, you’ll receive individualized attention while benefiting from the camaraderie and support of your fellow players.

Match Play Opportunities

Put your skills to the test in our organized tennis match play sessions and leagues. Whether you’re looking for friendly competition or a chance to hone your competitive edge, our match play opportunities provide a platform to apply your skills in real-game situations. Private Lessons

Our certified instructors offer personalized, one-on-one coaching tailored to your individual goals and skill level. Whether you’re focusing on mastering specific strokes, improving your footwork, or enhancing your overall game, our private lessons provide the personalized attention and feedback you need to reach your full potential.
